The vowel monsters, designed at Allsorts Developmental Services by Debra Bramhall (Speech Language Pathologist), provide visual support to children for the articulation of long vowel sounds. These pictures can be used to support children in producing vowel sounds in isolation or by adding them into consonant-vowel and vowel-consonant combinations by providing prompts for correct mouth placement.
